While our team brings over 5+ years of expert care experience to the table, the Abenezer AFH brand has been providing personalized care in a vibrant, warm environment since 2019.

How is bathing and dressing managed?
We understand that these are private moments. Our caregivers provide Bathing & Dressing support with genuine respect, allowing residents to do as much as they can for themselves while stepping in to ensure safety in the shower and help with buttons, zippers, and grooming.
Are there specific "Personal Hygiene" routines?
Yes. Beyond bathing, we assist with daily oral care, hair combing, nail trimming, and shaving. We want our residents to not only feel good but to take pride in their appearance every day.
What support is provided for Mental Health?
We provide a stable, “low-stress” environment for residents managing mental health challenges. Our team works to understand individual triggers and provides emotional support, ensuring a peaceful co-existence within the home.
Can you accommodate "Any Other Care Needed"?
We pride ourselves on being adaptive. If a resident has a specific need—such as a specialized diet, range-of-motion exercises, or coordination with a physical therapist—we listen and integrate those requirements into their Custom Care Program.
How often is housekeeping performed?
Our Complementary Housekeeping is an ongoing daily service. We maintain a high standard of cleanliness in both private rooms and common areas to ensure a healthy, allergen-free, and pleasant living environment.
What is the environment like?
We focus on Comfortable Living. Our homes are designed to be safe, calm, and welcoming—moving away from a clinical feel to create a true “home” atmosphere.
Are laundry and housekeeping included?
Yes. To ensure a carefree lifestyle, we provide complementary laundry and housekeeping services for all residents.
Can you accommodate "custom" care needs?
Absolutely. We listen to our residents and their families to create custom programs tailored to specific desires and medical requirements. If there is “any other care needed,” we work to facilitate it.

How do you handle complex medication schedules?
Our Medication Management program includes secure storage, precise timing, and documentation. We use professional oversight to monitor for side effects or drug interactions, ensuring that residents receive the correct dosage at the correct time, every time.
Can you support residents with limited mobility?
Yes. We provide expert Mobility and Transferring assistance. Whether a resident needs a steady hand while walking or full assistance transferring from a bed to a wheelchair, our caregivers are trained in safe lifting techniques to prevent falls and protect resident dignity.
What does "Incontinence Care" entail at Abenezer?
We prioritize skin integrity and hygiene. Our staff provides discreet, regular assistance with toileting and the changing of incontinence briefs, ensuring residents stay dry, comfortable, and free from infection or skin breakdown.
How is laundry handled?
Complementary Laundry services include the washing, drying, and folding of clothes and linens. We handle all personal laundry individually to ensure items are returned to the correct resident promptly and in excellent condition.
